I am finally in the place where I know I need to be to shred the last few traces of excess fat from my body!

Apart from my training sessions as part of the Storm Force test dummy programme!! You can follow my progress on my Total Fitness Training Tenerife blog.

I have seen a huge change since encompassing the Eat Stop Eat programe into my life.

Get Lean...change the way you eat..

Where had I been going wrong??

I love my food, and while I was eating all the right things… I was eating too many. Not beacuse I couldn’t help myself, but because I thought I needed them for my energy levels.

I feel stronger, healthier and more energetic now than I have for a LONG time!

So if you are looking for that edge… or help with your eating that doesn’t involve counting calories and measuring portion sizes.. take a look for yourself.

I ‘ve just dropped in to put up this blog tonight so I can get back to my ‘me’ day :0). Many of us are self employed and in some cases working a job too, we have families, commitments etc etc! We are pretty much working at something… ALL the time. last night after I finished with my PT clients I decided to switch off the PC and watch TV! at 9pm! WHAT!? I never watch TV, especially not during the week..

This morning I decided that i would stay away from ‘work’ until at least 1pm… SoMe time.. take time to relax and just ..BE. i ironed….cleaned the windows, changed the beds… etc etc you get thhe picture..may not seem like ‘me’ day but it felt good! I had a wonderful day.

After lunch I switched on the PC for the necessary email checks and it just felt …..wrong!  So I made sure there was nothing there I HAD to do and switched off again and studied Spanish before I went and got the kids and headed for Spanish class..

You’re maybe saying….”yeah thanks for sharing your scintilating day Jude” …. .. BUT the point I’m wanting to make is …. take some time out! You get refreshed and ready for anything.. You need to work but you need to take a little time out too. In the past (even just last weekend) if i have taken a whole day off I start to panic coz I haven’t hussled or done enough work that day!

BREATHE…Today is different… It’s all good and I feel great to start my day tomorrow and continue with my transition to pantheress status!! (see my other posts on my Storm Force 12 week challenge!)

Maybe a whole day seems a little OTT for you in your schedule at the moment, but take an hour and during that hour ENJOY EVERY moment! And refrain from thinking you will have to play catch up for the rest of the day too!!

I’m away to spend the rest of the evening with my husband. Nite Y’all I’ll catch up with ALL the activity tomorrow.

We all know that as science and the human race has progressed so have the level of additives in our food. To make dried foods taste better, last longer, look nicer..Stuffed Peppers, clean foods = better health

But as we have developed, so too has the prevalence of food intolerances, diseases and obesity.

We are starting to recognize and in some cases admit that these additives are the underlying cause in many modern day illnesses and that simply cutting them out could lead to better health, fat loss and cures of diseases… YES I truly believe that cleaning up your diet will reduce the number of ailments, increase your energy and generally improve your life!

But where to start?! Many of the foods we eat are laden with things that increase the cravings! Yep we eat them, they make us want more..

Not only have i studied food and nutrition during my years of study but I have also walked the walk myself and know only too weel first hand how much better life can be on a clean diet.

That’s great ..but in reality.. it’s hard. We as human beings are creatures of habit and we all know that making new habits its all fine and good but breaking old habits takes something a little extra. Especially when we are talking about things i.e food that has a direct impact on your chemical make up and subsequently your ‘cravings’ :0)!

Help is at hand! go on over to Clean Foods =

If you want to feel healthy, burn fat, improve your skin, hair and nails, increase your energy levels, improve your moods…..and the list goes on!!!

Do this! It’ll be challenging but you wont regret it!

Continuous Professional Development….. is proving to be a little trickier from Tenerife than from Scotland.

Those of you that know me, know that I am a serial student!! Always reading and going to courses and events to update my knowledge which I just LOOOOVE to come back and share with you all!!

I have to say though that the things I have earmarked for the next year are pretty much attendance courses in the UK… .  Previoulsy I would have hopped in my car, with my tunes and the Sat Nav and driven  wherever I needed to go.. In Tenerife I’d end up driving in a (kind of )circle or off a cliff!!  The level of training here in English language has not convinced me to be worth the time, effort or money to invest in. And my Spanish isn’t good enough YET to train here… although ..next year…..

I need to look  into some sort of frequent flyer scheme!! Oh and not tell the kids Im going back to the UK as they want to come too and visit everyone!!!

So any suggestions on how I can achieve my training desires for this year will be recieved with open ears!!

KCA Course Kinetic Chain Assessment with DaxMoy 2 separate dates L1 and L2

Neuro Physiology Course .. includes dissection of the brain!!

Kettlebell Training Course, haven’t decided which one yet but most are in England..
