Well after going to bed at 10 pm last night (day one) and falling asleep relatively easily.  I woke  this morning before the alarm with clear eyes, clearer skin and while my tongue felt a little ‘icky’ my nose was clear and I had no catarrh in my throat.

So far, I have found things relatively easy. Most of the literature I have read says the first 2 days are the hardest.. So I´m quote pleased.

My energy levels this morning were zero.. I was beginning to think I would have to change the limited schedule I had set myself to doing nothing..My tongue is yellow!!

At my first call of the day, whilst in the middle of the assesment. I was handed a black coffe with sugar! I never drink black coffe or take sugar. My colleague thought she was being helpful… anyway before I realised I had taken several sips and I actually felt better for it. My stomach eased and my energy levels lifted. I went the rest of the day with normal energy levels so I was able to carry on as I had planned. I thanked my colleague for ‘interfering’ .lol

So…. now I have had heavy legs, you know the kind of pins and needles type of gnawing for arouhd the past 3 hours and I want to eat.. not because I feel hungry but beacuse I like food!! I even started to salivate at a McDonalds Chickem wrap advert.. I haven´t eaten McD’s for YEARS!

I have my couch up in the living room and my husband has been badgered into massageing my legs for me before I go to bed

I have been thinking of breaking the fast on Sunday which would make it a 3 days fast.. Only beacuse at 5ft.5.5 and 57 KG I really haven´t got that much ‘extra’ on me and my work trousers and jeans were HUGE on me today… See how I get on tomorrow.. Oooh I nearly forgot. I took some of the Senna Tea today ( a natural laxative) and it definately does what it says on the tin, so to speak. Sorry! Aren’t you glad I told you that
