I love this – I hope you do to.

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.
Be Happy, just the way you are....
One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water.

Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.

But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream.

‘I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house.’

The old woman smiled, ‘Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot’s side?’

‘That’s because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them.’

‘For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table.

Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house.’

Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it’s the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.

You’ve just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them.

And send this to any or all of your Crack Pot friends within 5 minutes and see what happens! Don’t forget the Crack Pot that sent it to you!!

Something I used to have on the fridge!! Found it buried amongst some papers today… now re-printed and framed !! Motivational, Inspirational and just plain nice!

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Your road to happiness! Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?”
Actually, who are you not to be?
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to manifest the glory and wonder that is within us.
As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give those around us permission to do the same.

Not getting enough items on your To-Do list checked off?

Do you feel guilty because you’re not doing enough? I’ll be the first one to admit that I don’t always remain calm, zen and un-phased when I don’t get everything done.

Sometimes I get distracted; sometimes unforeseen events happen which get in the way of my ambitions. Sometimes I have a hard time not caring about unimportant things. I want the dishes to be clean and the house spotless, all my errands to be finished and everything neat and tidy.

Shannon Kennedy - Freefall

When we arranged for her to have guitar lessons earlier this year with one of my  clients, Phil who is a Musician with Crush, she turned her stories into songs….

They recorded her first song, written with her friend Frankii arranging chords, played and sung by her…. a few weeks ago..they are now on to song number 2… I thought I’d share it with you.

Start using these 6 affirmations to help you change your outlook on life…

I give myself permission to do extraordinairy acts
I am worthy of having all my dreams come true.
Life is a gift, Thank You.
I listen to my heart, which awakens my genius
I have a great vision and money flows in to help me achieve it.
If I really want something I will dedicate every day to it.
It’s time to start appreciating every moment of every day. Give of yourself and plan for where you want to be from a good place rather than from a place of lacking.

The past few days people have been talking to me about Britains Got Talent and in particular,  Susan Boyle.

Achieving her Goal..Susan Boyle
